Check Settings in the app: Notifications must be on, and your alert thresholds (worldwide, near me, emergency) need to be low enough to match the earthquakes you expect. Also check iOS Settings > QuickQuake > Notifications is allowed, and Location is set to "Always" if you want alerts while the app is closed.
Open iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > QuickQuake, and set it to "Always" or "While Using the App." Without location access, you'll still see the public earthquake feed, but you won't get proximity-based alerts.
In the app, go to Settings and tap Delete Account. This immediately and permanently removes your location, device token, and alert preferences from our servers.
QuickQuake combines official sources (including USGS, EMSC, and GeoNet) with an early-warning feed to detect and confirm earthquakes as quickly as possible. Sources are shown on each quake's detail page.
